Overnight Respite Centre Appeal

Our major focus at the moment is to raise $1.7 million to fund our Overnight Respite Centre, the only one of its kind in the Shire of Yarra Ranges.

"In Memoriam" donations

An In Memoriam donation may be made instead of sending flowers for a funeral. It is a positive and thoughtful way to remember and honour the life of a loved one.

The donation may be made at the time of the bereavement or any time later. Or, you may wish to make an annual donation to commemorate the anniversary of the loss.

All In Memoriam donations are individually receipted and acknowledged promptly; all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Funeral notice: You may wish to publish, with the Funeral Notice, information directing donations to the Caladenia Dementia Care.

Bequests - your will

The making of a Will is an important part of your planning; it gives you peace of mind to know that you have looked after your loved ones and friends, as well as avoiding the confusion that occurs when one's wishes are unknown.

It is important to make your own decisions about what happens to your assets. If you are looking for the exact wording to use for a bequest - here is an example:

"I bequeath to Caladenia Dementia Care ACN 141 153 942 of 11 Hilledge Lane Mooroolbark Victoria for its general purposes the sum of $.....( use words & figures) .....(or portion of estate, or description of property) and I declare that the receipt of the treasurer or other proper officer shall be a sufficient discharge to my trustee".

Or you may wish your solicitor to advise you about the wording and legal requirements.
